The partition evidenced the sacrifices of our fathers and fore fathers, they had a vision and destiny to reach, Faith in ALLAH, They believed that nothing can defeat them; They believed Allah the ultimate Authority .
Aey Tair-e-Lahooti, uss rizq say mout achi
Jis rizq say aati ho, parwaz main kotahi
Aain-e-jawanmardi, haq goi-o-bay baaqi
Allah kay sheron ko, aati nahin rubaahi(Hypocicy)
Not only our politicians, Govt., and law enforcement agencies are responsible for the escape but also we as a nation are also responsible. Where were we; when they started drone attacks where were we? Probably living with comfort in our homes and enjoying the daily perqs. When they snatched our identity by dictating our rulers, where were WE?
Paani paani ho gaya sun ker Qalander ki ye baat
Tu jhuka jab ghair key aagey, na tann tera na mann
Apney mann main dub kay pa ja suragh-e-zindagi
Tu agar mera nahi banta, na ban, apna tou bann

Al Maeda: Ayat 51
يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ ٱلۡيَہُودَ وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَۘ بَعۡضُہُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٍ۬ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمۡ فَإِنَّهُ ۥ مِنۡہُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ (٥١)
O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust. (51)
The Above Ayaat from Quran e Pak states clearly that neither Jews nor Christians (At least their govts.) can ever be friends, caretakers or well-wishers of Muslims even if you accept their faith.
Over a decade, back an American official had stated: “Pakis can sell their mother for ten dollars.” Our past rulers have been proving it repeatedly and today we have demonstrated it yet again under the so-called democratic rulers. We have sold ourselves once again.
If man has all the treasures of world, he will be demanding more and more. The greed of wealth often tempts us to acquire most of it by any means legal (halal) or illegal (Haram). We are most greedy and cursed beings no matter we are getting famous and money for selling our pride, values, authority or faith. Whether the time is demanding stand on national pride (Saqoot E Dhaka, Kargil) or standing by the rule of law.
We never thought that we would be sold in this manner and so cheaply. We knew well that Nawaz Sharif had once sold Aimal Kansi to the Americans, Benazir Bhutto handed over Yousaf Ramzi to US and the ISI and Pakistan Army under Musharraf presented hundreds of Pakistanis and other nationals including the daughter of Pakistan Dr Aafia Siddiqui to US but we mistakenly thought that it might not be possible for all of them now because of the independent media and the judiciary. But they did it again to Pakistan and did it so shamelessly.
Kissey nahin hai tamanna-e-sarwari lekin
Khudi ki mout ho jis main, wo sarwari kya hai?
Buton say tujh ko umeedain, Khuda say no meedi
Mujhey bata tou sahi aur kaafri kya hai?
Allama Mohammad Iqbal emphasized in a number of writings on khudi and not selling ones dignity. The only thing that can give ones soul peace is faith in ALLAH,
وَلَن تَرۡضَىٰ عَنكَ ٱلۡيَہُودُ وَلَا ٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَہُمۡۗ قُلۡ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ هُوَ ٱلۡهُدَىٰۗ وَلَٮِٕنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتَ أَهۡوَآءَهُم بَعۡدَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِۙ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ۬ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ (١٢٠)
Al-Baqara:120
Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) till you follow their religion. Say: "Verily, the Guidance of Allâh (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism) that is the (only) Guidance. And if you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) were to follow their (Jews and Christians) desires after what you have received of Knowledge (i.e. the Qur'ân), then you would have against Allâh neither any Walî (protector or guardian) nor any helper. (120)
